Floods in Afghanistan, more than 100 killed
The floods hit the northern region of Afghanistan. Until Sunday (27/04/2014), more than 100 people have been killed and a thousand other residents to evacuate.

The statement from the local authorities declared the Afghan army sent a helicopter to rescue people trapped in floods. While the ferry is used to deliver food and water to remote areas that surrounded the flood.

National Disaster Management Authority officials on Sunday said 111 bodies had been found as a result of the flooding. Hundreds of bodies were found in the province of Sari Pul, Zawzjan, Faryab and Badghis.

So far 20 people have been reported missing. Associated Press sources requires anonomitas not the official spokesman for the authority.

The flooding is due to rain since the weekend. The same official said more than 1,000 people to evacuate at once lost their homes, crops, and livestock.
