Flood and Landslide Kills 34 People in Philippines

According to the interim report , as many as 34 people have lost their lives due to floods and landslides that occurred in the Philippines . AP reported on Friday ( 01/17/2014 ) , Philippine Disaster Management Agency in a recent data reveals that the disaster was a result of a tropical depression .

In addition , the agency also added that the tropical depression is triggering the movement of rain clouds which become lammbat . And that's the trigger of gathering clouds to cause heavy rains .

A record of these institutions have shown that as many as seven people still missing , and 212,000 people had fled to and from their homes . The tropical storm has hit as many as 14 provinces in the Philippines .

Philippine Disaster Management Institute revealed that the region has been hit by Typhoon Haiyan also been affected by Tropical Storm itself. And to this day , the death toll from Typhoon Haiyan has reached 6,200 people .
