Security Service of Ukraine , Friday ( 31/01/2014 ) , announced it has opened a criminal investigation against opposition accusations of attempts to seize state power .
The accusation is based on data from a server computer seized , with the information in it revealed allegations that the mass protests in the country have planned ." An inquiry to a takeover attempt has been opened , " said Maxime Lenko , Head of the Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine ( SBU ) , as quoted by the Interfax news agency .
The allegations emerged after investigators examine the information stored on computer servers were seized in December 2013 , in the attack on the headquarters of the opposition Batkivschyna in Kiev , following the imprisonment of former Prime Minister of Ukraine , Yulia Tymoshenko .
Information from the server indicates that the mass anti- government protests that have brought Ukraine into its worst crisis since independence is planned .
Lenko said , referring to the alleged actions were premeditated use of phrases such as " the use of force demonstrators to undermine the authority of the president .. " .
Riots erupted in Ukraine after President Viktor Yanukovych rejects EU deal on November 2013 , which became the key to support closer ties with Russia .
