U.S. President Barack Obama, Friday (13/06/2014), saying it will not send more troops to the Iraq war. But he said it would consider several options to help the Iraqi government offensive against Sunni militants.
"We will not send U.S. troops back into battle in Iraq," Obama said. "However, I have asked the national security team to prepare a range of options that can assist the Iraqi security forces," said Obama.
In a brief statement that he gave at the White House lawn, Obama also said Iraq still must resolve its own problems in the country's divisions. Related to the latest situation in Iraq, Obama's got a lot of pressure to intervene again in Iraq.
Sunni militant groups have made the attack and gain a victory in his final battle with the Iraqi government. Obama delivered a brief statement before he underwent a series of trips in the country.
